Quicker than you cross the finish line it looks like it’s Splitsville for F1 racing star Lewis Hamilton and Pussycat Dolls lead only singer Nicole Scherzinger. Don’t act like you never saw it coming.

According to The Sun it looks like the power couple have decided to pull into the pit-stop and put the brakes on their relationship. A spokesman released a statement on behalf of the two stars saying “They have decided to go their separate ways. They want to focus fully on their careers and will remain close friends.”

Let’s be honest in ‘relationship world’ we all know that ‘let’s stay friends’ means don’t call me, don’t write, don’t text me, don’t Facebook me and don’t Twitter me.

With the new Formula 1 season starting Hamilton is hoping to regain his crown as the number one driver, whilst Nicole is planning the release of her second solo album.
